A Legacy Rooted in the Olive Tree
LIOTRIVI OLIVE PRESS
The story of the Betsis family is woven into the soil of this land, an unbroken thread that stretches back to 1890, when Grigorios Betsis first turned olives into liquid gold. It was more than a trade; it was a way of life. In the years that followed, between 1920 and 1925, his sons Nikolaos and Dionysios carried the flame forward, nurturing the family craft with steady hands and deep respect for tradition. Then, between 1935 and 1938, a new chapter was written. Nikolaos Betsis, the grandfather, built a new olive mill on this very ground. That same stone building still stands today, timeless and full of stories, echoing with the scent of olives and the hum of dedication.
Now, over 135 years since it all began, the Betsis Bros Company continues the family legacy in the very same place. Blending heritage with innovation, we use modern technology and refined methods, but the heart remains unchanged. Because for us, olive oil is not just a product. It is history, memory, and soul, bottled in every drop.
